Mr. Arun Arunachalam started his career with Aruna in 2007 as a 3rd generation entrepreneur. After completing his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at PSG Tech in 1999, he proceeded to the USA to finish his Master’s in Industrial Engineering at the University of Oklahoma, Norman. He then joined Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. at Lawton Oklahoma as Industrial Engineer and then transferred to Akron, Ohio as Manufacturing Analyst / Regional Industrial Engineer. He also further completed his MBA (Finance) at Case Western University, Cleveland in 2007. After having a good stint at the USA working in a corporate world, he has joined the family business and taken over all operational activities. He has implemented modern management techniques in the foundry to reduce lead times, and enhance delivery and quality. Using the foundation laid by his father, Arun has invested in Information Technology and digitized the foundry operations to improve the management effectiveness.Arun was born on July 30th, 1977.

Mrs. Lakshmi Manikandan started her career with Aruna in 2004 after completing her undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, Madras. After making an immediate impact to the organization, she attended the post-graduate program at Warwick University, England to complete her Master’s Degree focused on Operations Management. In her current role, as Quality Assurance Director of Continuous Improvement and Operations Excellence., Lakshmi is actively engaged in transitioning Aruna into a world class manufacturing facility.Lakshmi was born on February 17th, 1983.
